Schedule Route

A schedule route is open only during the times you set, so entities take it by time of day or by a shift schedule. It is an advanced route type. Several schedule routes can leave one source (when more than one is open, the first one drawn wins), and an Alternate route can sit beside them, but no other route type can.

Modes

Pick how the schedule is defined with Schedule Mode:

• Time-of-Day: a start and end time on the days you choose.
• Day-of-Week: specific days of the week.
• Shift Calendar: follow an existing shift schedule. Route When Shift Is sets whether the route is open while the shift is Active (on duty) or Inactive (off duty).
• Cutoff Time: a cutoff time of day. Cutoff Rule sets which orders take this route: Orders BEFORE cutoff or Orders AFTER cutoff.

When the route’s window is closed, an Alternate route from the same source is tried before the entity waits. With none, entities wait at the source until the window opens again.
